PICTURE THIS: Princeton & NO @ Bootleg Theatre, LA 1/30/12

Monday night at the Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles, local darlings Princeton closed out their residency to a packed house of music lovers. Before Princeton took the stage the room quickly built in excitement as their predecessor, current buzz-band and other local favorite, NO, graced the stage.

NO is offering up their EP Don’t Worry, You’ll Be Here Forever on Bandcamp for “name your price” (aka free) but I suggest you don’t sit on this. With their The National-esque sound and powerful instrumentation these guys are the real-deal and won’t be “unknowns” for long.

After a snap-crackle-and-drum-kick-pop Princeton got their electronic-pop in action as they closed out their residency and played several new tracks of their soon to be released full-length, Remembrance Of Things To Come. These guys are a delightful quad and apparently dreamy too, proven by the squeals from the girls in the audience.
