PICTURE THIS: The Wombats @ Constellation Room, Santa Ana 10/2/2012
While The Wombats could easily have filled the main room of the Observatory, we got the chance to catch the Liverpool trio on the tiny stage of the Constellation Room. Los Angeles band Beware of Darkness opened up the show with a freaky-in-a-good-way performance, the crowd waiting with bated breath for frontman Kyle Nicolaides’ next unpredictable action.
Hailing from Essex, England, Morning Parade brought their Brit alterna-pop to Santa Ana for the first time, warming up the crowd for the imminent dance party.
Finally, the adorable dudes of The Wombats were warmly welcomed to the stage. Without wasting a moment the band powered through their set with a fervor that radiated out into the crowd. Missed out on the show? Check out The Wombats this coming Sunday (October 7th) at the Culture Collide Festival.
