Perry Farrell brought his new band Kind Heaven Orchestra to The Fillmore as the headliner of The Festival of Light and the constant showman was the perfect ray of optimism for the occasion.  Musically the band is what we could expect from Farrell’s previous projects of good rock music, glittery musicians and of course Farrell himself singing with the voice we’ve known since the early 90’s. In between songs, Perry is a natural at talking to the audience as if they were his longtime friends and by the end of the night, we certainly had a feeling of old buddies getting together and singing. Lots of smiles all around.
