Kikagaku Moyo jammed their music to an excited sold out crowd at The Independent on Sunday night. The psychedelic band from Japan played a surprisingly short set that still wowed the audience. With their long hair, jam sessions and yes a sitar the band would fit in perfectly with the Haighy/Ashbury scene in the late ’60s.

Danny James, returning from a year hiatus, was a sweet opener and Skull Candy Mountain played a solid set of psych pop tunes.
