PICTURE THIS: Dawes @ the Fox Theater 6/25

Taylor Goldsmith’s voice is incredible, always pitch perfect, and his guitar playing is impressive too. It was absolutely magical the way his brother—Griffin Goldsmith (drummer) and keyboardist Tay Strathairn, harmonized with him. Their vocal harmonies are right up there with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Their lyrics are passionate, and you feel the emotion coming out of every speaker. They make you feel every song, but particular standouts for me were “When My Time Comes” and “Time Spent in Los Angeles.”
