PICTURE THIS: Caroline Rose + Cardioid Rickshaw Stop, SF
When Caroline Rose took the stage we quickly derived that not only were we going to get to see a fantastic musical performance but we were also going to get a bonus comedy show as well. Her punchy, carefree “dance” moves, goofy facial expressions and endless sarcasm complemented her collection of songs that pretty much make fun of everything. It was a great night of music, dance and laughter.
Cardioid was hand picked by Caroline Rose and her band to open for for them on their tour, and it was easy to tell after the first couple of songs it was for a great reason. Lizzy Ellison’s (formerly from Radiation City) crisp vintage sounding vocals backed by succinct, drums and guitar chords was a foolproof recipe for a fantastic performance.
