Goodnight, Texas celebrates their new album, A Long Life of Living, with some friends at Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco.

Jesse Thomas with her unique raspy voice fit right in with Americana/country vibe of the night. She pulled songs from her great War Dancer release and two new songs called “Leather Jacket” and “We Don’t Talk.” Check out our review of War Dancer here.

Elliot Randall And The Deadmen brought some alt country to the stage. Elliot stared out by bringing up Heather Combs to help out. Elliot And The Deadmen, and Combs was an excellent combination! The rest of their set they used songs from Caffeine & Gasoline and their Take the Fall releases keeping the rowdy crowd moving.

Goodnight, Texas lead by Patrick Dyer Wolf and SF’s Avi Vinocur pulled out some new songs in addition to songs from A Long Life of Living. Even though A Long Life of Living was just released earlier this month, the crowd knew all the words to a lot of the songs. When it came to “Old St. John,” Vinocur stepped out from behind the mic and sang a capella right along with the crowd. Check out our review of Goodnight, Texas’, A Long Life of Living.
