PICTURE THIS: Irene Diaz @ Red Poppy Art House, SF 5/8/14
A small but sold out crowd got the chance to see up and coming star Irene Diaz in a very intimate and romantic setting. The LA musician has been getting lots of attention from NPR, blogs, and, as she told the crowd, her song “Crazy in Love” was the top song for weddings in 2013. Amazing that such a powerful voice comes from this petite singer but she had the crowd’s full attention. Mostly playing the piano and backed by musician and girlfriend Carolyn Cardoza, Diaz played songs from her I Love You Madly EP. The set ended with two new songs and if they are any indication her fan base is only going to grow.
