PICTURE THIS: Authority Zero, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Skyfox @ Slim’s, SF 1/20/12

A windy and rainy night meant the fat was cut leaving only the diehards for a night of hardcore, pop punk, reggae, and ska. The openers, Skyfox played a set that seemed too sweet and innocent for most of the crowd.

Voodoo Glow Skulls woke the crowd up with songs from their brand new record Break The Spell as well as a litany of their jittery and muscular skacore classics.

Through their long career Mesa, Arizona’s Authority Zero has perfected their patent for engaging and interacting with the crowd. Authority Zero seamlessly worked their way through a set of their punk and reggae songs.
