THE OWL MAG PRESENTS: Sea Lioness + Grow & Twine + Trebuchet @ Bottom of the Hill, SF 3/21/15

One of the things we hold nearest and dearest to our hearts is unearthing great music, amazing musicians, and disseminating their sounds out into the world for others to enjoy and appreciate. Nothing makes us happier. To that end, we are extremely excited to kick-off our first The Owl Mag Presents showcase this year (with hopefully many more to come) at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco on Saturday March 21st. San Francisco”s Sea Lioness will headline the occasion which also serves as the band”s EP release for their latest work Knee Deep Inside the Steady Stream. We love Sea Lioness” sound which consists of some seriously sing-a-long worthy vocals and subtly cool synths and keys. If some of the members of Sea Lioness look familiar to you, don”t be startled – both Travis Woodland and Steven Medd casino online pull double duty in this band as well as local favorite, Cannons and Clouds.

San Francisco by-way-of Tennessee Grow & Twine joins Sea Lioness on the bill for the evening. Ryan Devens and Roxi Pianko know how to tug at your heart strings with some emotional ebbing and flowing in their southern-meets-sunny indie folks style. Petaluma”s Trebuchet rounds out the night with the pithiest and catchiest self-described sound: “old soul with modern conveniences.” We love it. We hope you do too!
