Richmond, Virginia’s Natalie Prass brought her soulful R&B – and a cymbal-eating, chicken-sounding Godzilla – to a sold out Islington Assembly Hall in London and captivated the audience with an eclectic mix of jams and special guests.
Performing songs from her recent self-titled album, Natalie Prass went beyond what was expected by throwing in a few surprises along the way. An appearance by Ryan Adams halfway through the set to assist Prass in performing Janet Jackson’s “Any Time, Any Place” was supplemented by an additional guest appearance from London’s own Jessie Ware, which got the crowd dancing whilst wearing the happiest of grins.
