It’s an East Bay takeover at the Independent in San Francisco on 9/9 as Oakland’s own Oona is set to open for the boys from San Leandro, Forrest Day, in what promises to be an energy-packed, adrenaline-pumping evening of local artistry. Our advice? Rest up before the show, take a nap or stock up on energy drinks, wear comfortable shoes, and be prepared to be the human equivalent of a bobblehead for the night because these East Bay powerhouses are no joke.
