The beauty of music is its boundless ability to pollinate the ears and expose any listener to a feeling that may be totally new yet somehow still familiar. Just like every San Fransiscan that showed up to the Rickshaw Stop Thursday night didn’t have to hail from Georgia to feel deeply rooted with the sweet southern tunes that Rebecca and Meghan Lovell (AKA Larkin Poe) had pouring from their amplifiers. The pristine slide of the lap-steel, long drawn chords of the the electric guitar and the growling vocals from the southern sister duo was a blues rock dream come true.
