FROM THE NEWS NEST: Noise Pop Starts A Mini Food + Music Festival — Meet Noisette

June 05. 2012 | By Dustin Shey

From the genius festival/promotions company behind the legendary Noise Pop Festival, Noise Pop has combined what San Franciscans truly hold dear — music and food — and turned it into another fall festival that these Owls are dying to go to. Appropriately named Noisette, the one-day festival falls on August 4th at The Speakeasy Brewery in Bayview/Hunters Point. Playing music for the inaugural year will be The Dodos, Craftspells, Taken By Trees, and Pillowfight.

Noisette doesn’t only highlight some of the best in Bay Area music, but is also bringing in chefs from Monk’s Kettle, Commonwealth, Flour + Water, Graffeats, and more. Ticket prices range from $50 – $85 for the one-day event, and you should pick them up now before this day of good music and good eats slips right through your fingers.

**UPDATE**  As of 7/18/12, Noisette has moved to Public Works(161 Erie St. between Mission and S. Van Ness) and is a 21+ venue.
