June 01. 2012 | By Collin Welbon

Starting in June, KCRW (89.9FM and KCRW.com) is bringing back its all-ages, summer outdoor concert series Summer Nights, featuring live shows across Southern California. The concert series will run throughout the summer from June to September with a wide range of artists performing out in the sun and under the stars. This year, KCRW has also partnered up with the Hammer Museum and the Annenberg Space for Photography to bring even more live bands and artists together for everyone’s enjoyment.

KCRW’s Summer Nights series kicks off on Saturday, June 9th at Old Colorado in Old Pasadena with an evening set of melodic, dance-provoking pop from Bahamas. Although all of these evenings of live music are free, some of the events require an RSVP. Be sure to check out the KCRW Summer Nights 2012 website for details on bands performing, dates, and locations. Come one, come all, and enjoy the summer sounds of Moby, Portugal. The Man, and Band of Skulls as well as many other bands.
