YOU GOTTA SEE THIS: “Bolt Cutter” by Doomtree

The intensity never lessens in the video for “Bolt Cutter” by Doomtree. Bathed in semi-darkness, each member of the Minneapolis hip-hop collective stares through the camera with laser focus. It’s a bit spooky when the flashlight illuminates blood on the wall, and the Blair Witch-style instability doesn’t help. The line “we don’t sleep when the darkness creeps” feels especially poignant–I may not sleep either.
