FREE TICKETS: Holy Wars @ The Hi Hat, Los Angeles 6/29/17

June 26. 2017 | By Wayne Jessup

Holy Wars, a Los Angeles-based dark pop outfit fronted by Kat Leon, found themselves uncomfortably close to the dark side when Leon’s parents both passed away in 2015. Working her way back into the light, Holy Wars has emerged with their response, a pair of EP’s, Mother, out 6/30, with Father to follow in late summer. “I Can’t Feel A Thing” sets the tone, and new single “Orphan” is the centerpiece, taking overcoming grief and turning into an anthem. “Warrior” finishes up the first act, summing up the journey, and leaving you to await the remainder of the story later this summer.

We would be delighted for you to be our guest at Holy Wars EP release show 6/29 at the Hi Hat in Los Angeles, with New Language and Night Talk. Simply email us at: contests@theowlmag.com by 10AM PST on June 28th, making sure you include your full name in the body of the email and “Holy Wars @ the Hi Hat” in the subject line. For those of you in need of a sure thing, standard tickets are available here.
