YOU GOTTA SEE THIS: “Leaving On the 5th” by Voxhaul Broadcast
When I first heard Voxhaul Broadcast‘s “Leaving On the 5th,” I probably played it five or six times in a row. It’s just that good. The video, directed by Justin Franklin and inspired by Thomas Edison’s “Serpentine Dance,” intersperses a whimsical love story (lighthouses, fireflies, frolicking) with scenes of the band playing like rockstars. This well-crafted piece, with its quirky romance, leaves no doubt in anyone’s mind that they soon will be.
