In this kooky video clip for San Cisco‘s most recent single off the Awkward EP, family snapshots, mates mucking around at the beach, and funny onesies are awash with nostalgic cinematography and post-production.

Director Matthew Christopher Saville filmed the band frolicking about Fremantle in Western Australia, then chopped it up and shuffled it into a poignant stream of images that paint a definitive picture of Australian youth culture, centered around the beach and suburbia.

The vaguely retro, vintage filter of the montage of fun and games filmed in and around their hometown is permeated by youthful energy and happy vibes befitting their sun-soaked, catchy, low-fi indie-pop.
