FREE TICKETS: Blind Pilot, Laura Gibson, Holiday Friends @ Fonda Theatre, LA 7/7/12

Los Angeles, you sure do dig on music from the Pacific Northwest and indie folk/pop-types who make it. That’s obviously the case because Portland, Oregon’s own Blind Pilot is coming back to town!

Israel Nebeker (vocals, guitar), Ryan Dobrowski (drums), Luke Ydstie (upright bass, backing vocals), Kati Claborn (banjo, dulcimer, backing vocals), Ian Krist (vibraphones), and Dave Jorgensen (keyboards, trumpet) are touring on the legs of their lush and graceful 2011 release We Are The Tide and their LA stop is at the Fonda Theater along with Laura Gibson and Holiday Friends on 7/7. Two pairs of tickets sit in our hot little hands and we need a reason to give them away. Oh here’s a reason: leave a comment telling us your favorite Blind Pilot song and a pair could be yours.
