TRACKS OF THE WEEK – 8/8/19 Edition

Welcome back to the Nest for another Week of Tracks. LA trio Automatic has our complete and undivided attention this week with the arresting post-punk gem, “Calling It”. Catch their residency at the Echo in LA every Monday night in August. Black Belt Eagle Scout is back, celebrating their Portland roots on “My Heart Dreams”, from the brand new LP At The Party With My Brown Friends, out 8/30 on Saddle Creek. 

“Means To Me” is the stunning title track of the forthcoming Long Beard LP, courtesy of Double Double Whammy on 9/13. They’ll be opening for Saint Seneca on selected East Coast dates. Seattle’s Moon Palace are back with “Bold”, from their new LP Shadowcast, out 8/23. Their release celebration will be held locally at the Clockout Lounge on 9/20. Closing out this edition, Austin’s Ume  is back with “The Center”, from their latest LP Other Nature.
