YOU GOTTA SEE THIS: “Late Night Show” by Vincent Minor

The video for Vincent Minor‘s “Late Night Show” begins and ends with a string. The film is trippy and provocative, moving through increasingly complex graphic styles and scenes. As the Vincent figure transforms from line drawing to sketch, claymation to live action, he is pulled like a marionette by strings that both save him (from drowning in the sea, for example) and trap him. Directed by Chris Coats, the film is a visual feast. It creatively raises questions about the control we have over our own lives.
