It’s finally started getting cold in Los Angeles, so what better place to warm up than a damn good rock show? The Echo might as well have been a showcase of up-and-coming Los Angeles artists on this particular Thursday night.

Newcomers Miner opened up the show to a packed crowd with their alt-folk ditties.

The crowd visibly dwindled for indie surf-rockers Blonde Summer, but those of us who stayed were treated to some sunny jams to warm us up.

Three-piece Future Ghost changed up the pace with some heavy guitar riffs and darker vibes.

Returning to Los Angeles from a cross country tour, The Dead Ships are the real deal when it comes to bluesy garage rock, busting out their jams without hesitation. If you missed out on this show, be sure to check The Dead Ships out during their upcoming Echo residency, every Monday in December.
