We Were Promised Jetpacks’ new video is a bit like Kick-Ass or that Scott Pilgrim movie: a Michael Cera knock-off (to quote Childish Gambino) finds his way out of humdrum mundanity and into the world of super heroes. “Medicine” is a perfect track to accompany these quirky feats of strength, but don’t expect the video to have a syrupy sweet ending.
