YOU GOTTA SEE THIS: “July” by Youth Lagoon
“July”, the latest offering from Youth Lagoon, sends us to a surreal apocalyptic world. It’s devoid of the cheesy tropes we usually associate with that premise; this poignant video wraps you up, makes you believe, and leaves you feeling eerie–in a good way. Even though it’s only January, I’m betting this film finds its way to end-of-the-year best-of lists.
