I have a bit of a thing for live video sessions. The weirder the venue, the better: I’ve found some set in laundromats, garden sheds, abandoned park bandstands, balconies, and more. I recently discovered a site called City Sessions, which is one of the most creative I’ve seen. They take footage from live performance and add sections of animation, from claymation (like their session with Other Lives) to hand drawings, like the To Kill a King session below.
