TRACKS OF THE WEEK – 5/5/2022 Edition

Welcome back to Tracks, kicking off this week with fresh sounds from Minneapolis. “Runnitup” is the new single from Zora, ft. Myia Thornton. Her debut full-length, Z1, comes out 5/22 on Get Better Records. LA’s own Taleen Kali has a new single “Flower Of Life”, the title track of her forthcoming LP, made possible by a successful Kickstarter campaign. For a different side of her talent, every Saturday in May, she’ll be conducting a soundbath residency at Arlington Gardens in Pasadena.

Jacksonville, Florida duo Gilt is up next with “Trophy Hunter”, their new single featuring Nat Lacuna. The new EP Conceit is out tomorrow on Smartpunk Records. Catch them on tour up and down the East Coast this month, followed by a European jaunt in June. We’ll finish out this week with another duo on a different coast. “Exit Scene” is the latest from Seattle’s Love & Pain, with their new EP It Comes In Waves out tomorrow. It’s the long-awaited follow up to 2018’s Shivers EP.
