April 30. 2020 | By Wayne Jessup

Land Of Talk is the project of Montreal-based Elizabeth Powell, and “Compelled” is the latest salvo from her new LP Indistinct Conversations, out 7/31 on Dine Alone Records and Saddle Creek. “Compelled” gains extra emotional heft during the present quarantine, and her self-directed video shows off another facet of her talent.

Shining a spotlight on LA’s finest, No Age have a new jam, “Feeler”, and a new LP, Goons Be Gone, out 6/5 on Drag City. Alice Bag returns with her gift for the anthem intact, as evidenced on new single “Spark”. The LP Sister Dynamite is out 5/8 on In The Red Records, and don’t forget to check out her lockdown fitness tips in her Fit For The Apocalypse video series.

Nest favorites Say Sue Me (Busan, South Korea) are back with the emotional new single “Good For Some Reason”, in both ‘winter’ and ‘spring’ mixes, out now on Damnably and Electric Muse. Taking out the week on a loud note, Car Seat Headrest have unleashed “Hollywood”, our latest glimpse at their forthcoming LP Making A Door Less Open, out tomorrow on Matador.
