TRACKS OF THE WEEK – 4/23/20 Edition

April 23. 2020 | By Wayne Jessup

This week on Tracks, SF’s Topographies joins forces with Dream Recordings, and if you’re a fan of dark sounds, this is a chocolate/peanut butter situation. “In Crept Doubt” more than lives up to its name, our first taste of their new EP Differences and Repetitions. Diners is back with a new LP Leisure World, out tomorrow on Lauren Records. “Cup of Coffee” is, of course, our track of choice.

London’s own Anna B Savage has released her first single in five years, doffing her chapeau to Leonard Cohen on “Chelsea Hotel #3”, out now on City Slang. “Stardew” is the first single off of Purity Ring’s new LP WOMB out now on 4AD. Finishing up on a high note, Portland’s Crystal Furs most recent single is “Too Kind To Be Cruel”. Keep an eye out for their forth- coming full-length Beautiful and True, out in June on Subjangle.
