TRACKS OF THE WEEK – 4/14/2022 Edition

April 14. 2022 | By Wayne Jessup

Welcome back to Tracks, getting it started this week with Cremation Lily. The continually evolving project is the vision of London-based Zen Zsigo. Check out this live take of the title track from the forthcoming LP Dreams Drenched In Static, out tomorrow on The Flenser. SF outfit The Y AXES have retired that moniker, and now hang up their shingle as Gloomy June. “Save Anyone” is their new single, out now on Left Ghost Records. Catch them live with upcoming shows, including 4/16 in Arcata, and 4/22 at the Chapel, SF.

Perth, Australia’s Methyl Ethel are riding high on their latest LP Are You Haunted, a February release on Future Classic. Our featured cut is “Proof”, featuring Stella Donnelly. Finishing up this week, “The Fight For The Soul” is the lead track from the new Pluralone LP This Is The Show. The Josh Klinghoffer project was a mid-March release on LA’s Org Music.
