TRACKS OF THE WEEK – 3/10/2022 Edition

Welcome back to another Tracks, kicking off in Bloomington, Indiana with “Holiday World” from Mister Goblin. Trying to top last year’s masterpiece, Four People In An Elevator And One Of Them Is The Devil, the project has geared up to a  full band on the forthcoming LP Bunny, out 4/22 on Exploding In Sound Records. Albany-based Laveda follow their breakthrough debut LP What Happens Afterwith a new single: “bb”. Hard at work on LP 2, the duo has embarked on a tour, including a spot at SXSW.

Moving down to NYC, Jeanines are back, following up their 2019 self-titled debut with “Any Day Now”, the first single from their upcoming LP Don’t Wait For A Sign, due out 4/22 on Slumberland Records. Finishing off back home, Oakland’s Yama Uba have released their third single: “Laura”, (b/w “Isolation”), just out on Psychic Eye Records. The duo, Akimo Sampson and Winter Zora-both members of Ötzi, take a dark path of their own.
