Some Ember get us started this week with their brand new single “Rift”, out now on Third Coming Records. January/February will find them on the road, opening for Tamaryn in Europe and Russia. Ratboys are back with “I Go Out At Night”, previewing their new LP Printers Devil, out 2/28 on Topshelf Records. Mark your calendars for April West Coast shows, including Bottom of the Hill (SF) 4/2, Constellation Room (Santa Ana) 4/3, and the Echo (LA) 4/4.

Turning our attention to the UK, it’s new and old friends alike with Cornershop back in business with “No Rock: Save In Roll”, a bracing blast from new LP England Is A Garden, out 3/6 on Ample Play Records. “Revising My Fee” sets a high bar for Leeds-based Mush. Their debut LP 3D Routine is out 2/14 on Memphis Industries. Going out on a high note this week, it’s the return of Wire with “Cactused”, from Mind Hive, out tomorrow on their very own Pink Flag Records.
