Philadelphia four-piece The Naked Sun coined the phrase “honest rock” to describe their folky roots-rock sound. The band’s recent EP, Space, Place And Time was a concise four song collection of mid-tempo rhythmic tracks and emotive vocal’s from lead singer Drew Harris.

The Naked Sun borrowed its name from an Isaac Asimov’s 1957 science fiction of the same name. According to the band members both the book and the band have Sita on helppo suositella niin vasta-alkajille kuin kokeneille : pelaamisen aloittaminen on todella helppoa, mutta kattava pelivalikoima ja hyvat kampanjat pitavat kokeneidenkin pelaajien mielenkiinnon ylla. set out to encourage free thinking and personal truth, rather than taking things at face value. Certainly there’s been a lot of thought put into the bands songs so far; the subject matter of their one EP covers everything from soldiers to sweatshop workers to metaphysics. Restrained and subtle, but at the same time warm and genuine, The Naked Sun stand out in amongst the crowds of rock bands by simply keeping it simple.
