Owl Paws just might be one of San Francisco’s proudest indie folk adventures. Bringing their soul-touching jams to venues across the Bay Area and giving their album away for free earlier this month to kick off the new year, it seems that San Francisco can only keep Owl Paws to themselves for only a short time longer.

These guys understand music and the instruments that make it. Over an array of these instruments (acoustic guitar, upright bass, electric guitar, drums, with special appearances by a piano, cello, violin and organ), Owl Paws expertly layer warm vocal tones to reach the listener in a place beyond the earholes or any of the other senses.

Listen for yourself below or go check them out live on Thursday, January 17th at Bottom of the Hill in SF. Tickets are available here.
