HEAR THIS: Wax Fingers

August 10. 2012 | By Cervante Pope

Two years after their self-titled and self-released debut, Portland based indie rockers Wax Fingers have recently blessed us with their newest EP. Tender, which dropped on July 24th of this year, is an ethereal culmination of beachy, alternative delight. Think Tamarama meets Minus The Bear with hints of the less experimental side of Animal Collective. The EP’s closer, “Almost Always Sailing,” has a static head-bobbing beat that ends with a relaxing finish that’s sure to get you hooked. Check out the first song off the EP, “Bauhaus,” below.
