Unicycle Loves You is a Brooklyn based triad running the gamut between early 2000’s indie, 90’s noise, pop and lo-fi. It’s easy to love each one of these genres individually, but the way ULY blends them together is both familiar and refreshing. Listening to their three albums (with a fourth one coming out soon) evoke elements of Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, or almost any band signed to Burger Records, sometimes all on one album! Unicycle Loves You is the kind of band that upon hearing them, makes you want to call up all your friends and jam out in someone’s basement, surrounded by pizza and beer. Their fourth album, The Dead Age, comes out June 10th on Highwheel/Mecca Lecca and can be preordered here.
