HEAR THIS: Turtle Giant

Music can come from just about anyone and everywhere and one of the greatest things about it is how many people it can reach despite where it originated. The three piece known as Turtle Giant is a great example. The group hails from Brazil, yet their sound has made its way all the way to our little nest here at The Owl Mag, and we couldn’t be any more delighted.

As soon as we heard the band it was like a breath of fresh air, yet it seemed somehow familiar. Maybe it’s the comforting feeling that comes with each track, but regardless, we’re certainly fans of their style, which incorporates elements of folk, surf rock, and indie as well.
