PICTURE THIS: The Dig @ Tower Bar, San Diego 9/22/14
Monday night was full of surprises. After apparently setting Soda Bar on fire (don’t worry, Soda Bar still stands mostly unharmed), The Dig moved their show to Tower Bar, one of San Diego’s oldest and most distinct watering holes. Those sober enough to relocate reveled in the stiff cheap drinks, and the divey atmosphere that was perfect for this dark and slightly dissonant and yet somehow charming band from New York.
