Daniel Pujol, known simply as Pujol, is an intensely prolific garage rocker from Oklahoma who’s been kicking around the indie underground, affiliated at various times with Infinity Cat and Jack White‘s Third Man Records.

Between last fall’s opening stint for Ted Leo and The Pharmacists and making a splash at SXSW this year, Pujol has now put down roots in Nashville with the Saddle Creek label; following up last year’s Nasty, Brutish, and Short EP with a full-length United States of Being, due out June 5th.
