Nashville indie trio Daddy Issues, (not to be confused with the NC quartet of the same name), are on the move, debuting new cuts “I’m Not” and “In Your Head” from their forthcoming debut LP Deep Dream, out in May on Infinity Cat. Following in the footsteps of their previous release, the 2015 cassette EP Can We Still Hang, (“Shitty World,” of course, being a no-brainer Nest favorite), the new songs sharpen up their attack, adding depth to the sound without sacrificing the emotion. The moment a minute into “I’m Not,” when the band kicks in, you know you’re home. You can catch Daddy Issues live, currently touring East Coast with Diet Cig.
