On Wednesday, July 13th at Brick and Mortar Music Hall, San Francisco’s charming and underrated world music venue located on Mission near the intersection with Duboce, the sold out crowd of about 300 people, at least ⅔ of which were South Africans danced and grooved and passionately sang along with Freshlyground. The Afro-fusion indie rock band is made up of fantastic musicians with a commanding stage presence. While flashing gloriously happy smiles the Freshlyground ensemble showed off choreographed dance moves stirring the audience into a dancing frenzy that electrified the club.
