DITTIES FROM DOWN UNDER: The Broken Needles

The Broken Needles hail from the cyclone ravished parts of far North Queensland, Australia. Vocals remind us of Tom Petty/Jim Morrison, intense, structured, but mad, backed by a swanky, swampy rock sound. They’re a distinct mix of dirty country meets the rawness of punk and passion. They come from the land of crocodiles, cassowaries, and any deadly killer on this planet — the elements, killer jelly fish, and cyclones.

Vicious, raw, eerie, and uncompromising story telling — The Broken Needles are extremely intriguing and engaging.
