Midi Matilda invited Panic is Perfect and The Tambo Rays out to The Independent to have an amazing night of Bay Area music.
The Sister/Brother team of Sara and Brian DaMert as The Tambo Rays started off a night filled with great music. Their summery pop sound beat back San Francisco’s Karl the Fog and warmed The Independent right up! With Sara bouncing around the stage, it was impossible to watch her without jumping and dancing too. Rumor has it, new music from The Tambo Rays is expected soon so keep your ears open for that.

Panic is Perfect brought the energy up another notch for their set. More bouncing around the stage kept the audience dancing and cheering to their brand of indie pop. Panic is Perfect’s song “You’re Alive,” off their new album Cellspace, is the perfect summer song about living in the moment. Go pick it up!

Midi Matilda blasted on the scene with songs “Red Light District” and “Day Dreams” and Skyler Kilborn and Logan Grimé have continued to produce great music. New songs “Talk About It” and “You Make Me Feel Like” are prime examples of the band’s ability to create ear-catching music. Midi Matilda’s “Future Rock” was just what the crowd needed to dance their asses off. These bands are proof that there is a strong Bay Area music scene that needs YOU to continue to come out and support it.
