Australian power pop group, The Jungle Giants, are full of youth and infectious pop riffs. Whether it’s the chunky bass line in “Skin to Bone,” a love ballad about wanting to devour another person as completely as possible, or “She’s a Riot,” complete with heavy punk guitar riffs and hand-claps.

Their most recent album, Learn to Exist, is a near perfect gem of indie pop/rock tunes. Their songs evoke a teenage love affair, fresh love, new love, a learning to exist with new feelings and new decisions. The vocals are close to David Bryne in the Talking Heads, that interesting mix of unique and bizarre with popular.

The Jungle Giants leave listeners yearning for sing-alongs and weekends of montages set in the woods, during road trips, or planning a life changing party.
