BROOKLYN BEAT: White Hills

White Hills

For more than five years, White Hills have been spreading their subversive space-rock gospel through ear splitting psychedelic live shows and numerous guitar melting releases. Their music is inspired by a destructive pattern of noisy riffs as well as interludes of cosmic bliss, showcasing the group’s musical dexterity and attention to detail. For the moment, they still reside on the fringe of Brooklyn’s bigger buzz, but their music is too gutsy and too adventurous to last much longer on the sidelines. Get a hold of their most recent LP, H-p1, and make sure to suppress any temptation to turn down the volume.
