Starring some pretty groovy woodland creatures, the video for Ki:Theory‘s “Holiday Heart” is an interesting blend of natural and mechanical. The animated film weaves industrial textures into the forest: the sky looks like it was painted on wire mesh, a bird has cogs for eyes and screws for legs. Though the video seems simple and has a PETA-friendly message (arrows shoot out of factory smokestacks and kill the bunnies), the creative delivery suggests that things aren’t black and white.
