It takes some chutzpah to release a live recording as your official video. Not that there aren’t great live performance videos out there (hello, La Blogotheque), but if I were an artist I’d feel a little more secure promoting that snazzy studio version. Thankfully, The Parson Red Heads didn’t share my concern. Their video for “Burning Up the Sky” features a lovely live version of the tune, as well as some charming tour footage. With some tight harmonies and a bit of homespun flair, the video goes to show that chutzpah pays off.
