LA may not be known for putting out many dream pop artists, but Superhumanoids is certainly one that will bring the city to mind with their glossy harmonies and irresistible, vibrant sound.
Aussies Miami Horror at Echoplex made for a perfectly raucous night of dancing-sweating-moshing-music-loving electricity.
So smitten by these bands were we in 2010 that we glorify them with the deepest of poetry. Grab a tissue or a rose and find a loved one, these are worth repeating.
Last night in LA, the small hipster hot spot, The Echo, showcased two Los Angeles indie bands, Superhumanoids and Foster the People. The two bands played to the surprisingly non-hipster crowd for just a little over an hour, not long, but just enough to give us a taste of what each is made of.
