We here at the Owl heart previewing entire albums before we purchase them, and this week NPR has us in love with them as they are streaming Arcade Fire’s highly anticipated new album The Suburbs.

It’s always weird when someone who got the honored place of being featured on your desktop while scantily clad passes away. Type O Negative’s Peter Steele passed away last night of heart failure. He was 48.

Music world loses Jay Reatard & Teddy Pendergrass

Jay Reatard (pictured), garage-punk rocker, was found dead at his home in Memphis Wednesday.
