Following the Los Angeles premiere of Tom Berninger’s rockumentary turned intimate look at the Berninger brothers’ relationship, Mistaken for Strangers, indie heroes The National performed a full set for fans at the Shrine Auditorium. Their setlist was a mix of songs primarily off their latest record, Trouble Will Find Me, and 2010’s chart-storming High Violet. It was a performance catered to all fans, featuring mellow and emotional performances of tracks like “England” and “Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks”, as well as abrasive and intense live favorites “Mr. November” and “Abel”.
